Stocks Down Under spoke with Shane Menere, Founder and CEO of Far East Gold (ASX:FEG), about the company's Idenburg Gold Project in Papua province of Indonesia. 

Idenburg was acquired in 2024 and came with a 540,000 ounce JORC resource, but Far East Gold's exploration target is a massive 7.2 million ounces at 6.1g/t.

The resource estimate was based on only the Sua, Bermol and Mafi prospect areas using historical drillhole data supplemented by newly acquired topographic survey data. There are another 11 prospects, which Far East Gold is now looking to drill test.
